Palace security chief Dimitri Hérard detained

Dimitri Hérard, head of the General Security Unit of the National Palace (USGPN) — the unit guarding the president's residence — was detained and questioned over why the attackers met no resistance. Other palace-security officials were arrested and 24 officers questioned. Police also named ex-Senator John Joël Joseph as a key player and Worldwide Capital Lending as a fundraiser.
