Ex-Senator John Joël Joseph sentenced to life

Former Haitian senator John Joël Joseph, who pleaded guilty in October 2023, was sentenced to life by Judge Martínez. He had helped obtain vehicles and firearms and attended meetings including one the day before the assassination. Joseph Vincent, the former DEA informant, had pleaded guilty on December 5; Mario Palacios pleaded guilty on December 22.
