Role in the case

Member of the Colombian assault/security force on the ground in Haiti. Charged in the September 2026 U.S. indictment with conspiracy to kill or kidnap and material-support conspiracy. Like the group generally, the Colombians' position in Haiti was that some envisioned a coup or arrest, not an assassination. Presumed innocent.

Background

Former Colombian soldier recruited in 2021 through CTU Security. Arrested in Haiti in July 2021 and held there for five years without a Haitian trial.
